Peugeot to showcase new EX1 electric concept car at Goodwood
The company will unveil the car at 1.16-mile hill with Stéphane Caillet, driver and tuner-technician from the Company’s Research & Development Centre, as its driver with press members as other passengers.
The EX1 features two electric motors, 340bhp and a stonking great 1,680Nm of torque allowing users to speed up to 62mph in 3.49 seconds. The company aims to shed the perception that electric cars are justexpensive gimmicks and cannot match with ‘actual’ motors.
The company will also showcase a new 308 CC (Coupe Cabriolet) with a 200bhp petrol engine as well as the RCZ Sports Coupe in its new Asphalt LE version. Peugeot will offer only 75 Asphalt LE RCZs in the country. The new 508 executive or large family car will be displayed in the company’s Saloon and SW body shapes.
